The new Nemera site is located in Szczecin, Poland, which now has 6 production sites worldwide. Equipped with state-of-the-art industrial tools, the site covers 11,000 m2 including 3,400 m2 of controlled atmosphere areas and significantly increases Nemera’s production capacity. It will initially be dedicated to the manufacture of devices for injectable products, and will later be extended to other drug delivery devices. Flexible, the industrial equipment allows the production of small series for clinical trials as well as larger volumes. In addition, the production site will integrate research and development resources to facilitate the exchange and collaboration required to design and prototype any new device.
Nemera is also committed to a sustainable environmental approach. The entire site has been designed so that its environmental performance can be accurately monitored. The site has obtained BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) certification, a certification divided into different chapters that cover the entire process of evaluating an infrastructure: Management, Health and Well-being, energy, transport, water, materials, waste, land use and ecology, pollution and innovation.
